Project Title

Satellite Hydroinformatics for Water Resource Assessment in Pakistan

Description

The problem we aim to solve is the lack of a data-driven approach towards policy-making regarding Pakistan’s freshwater sources. This is mainly due to the limited availability and accuracy of existing solutions. This has led to a number of decades where decisions regarding the conservation, and usage of these freshwater sources in addition to prevention and safeguarding against calamities such as floods have been made without metrics to support it.
